ZACHARY ZALMAN GREEN lives in Minneapolis, MN (Mni Sota Makoce) on Dakota and Anishinaabe land. He works AS A FREELANCER IN THE FILM AND TELEVISION INDUSTRY as a grip & lighting technician, and occasionally as a director.
GREEN'S Writing HAS APPEARED IN hunger mountain, Mayday, tammy, court green, COLUMBIA POETRY REVIEW, AND ELSEWHERE. Green was a co-founding editor of ghost proposal magazine.
He has received support from the sewanee writers’ conference and will be an artist-in-residence at vermont studio center in the spring of 2026. HIS FILMS HAVE APPEARED AT THE NEW HAMPSHIRE FILM FESTIVAL, MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL INTernational FILM FESTIVAL, AND THE TWIN CITIES ARAB FILM FESTIVAL.
