ZACHARY ZALMAN GREEN lives in Minneapolis, MN (Mni Sota Makoce) on Dakota and Anishinaabe land. He works AS A FREELANCER IN THE FILM AND TELEVISION INDUSTRY as a grip & lighting technician, and occasionally as a director.
GREEN'S Writing HAS APPEARED IN hunger mountain, Mayday, tammy, court green, COLUMBIA POETRY REVIEW, AND ELSEWHERE. Green was a co-founding editor of ghost proposal magazine.
He has received support from the sewanee writers’ conference and will be an artist in residence at the vermont studio center in the spring of 2026. HIS FILMS HAVE APPEARED AT THE NEW HAMPSHIRE FILM FESTIVAL, MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL INTernational FILM FESTIVAL, AND THE TWIN CITIES ARAB FILM FESTIVAL.
